If you came to here from my blog about converting my web site to poole, you know that one of my plans is to learn the Python language so that I can get the most out of poole. Poole is s Python script to generate a web site from Markdown plain text source files.

I am not a programmer, so learning Python really means first learning how to program. I plan to base my learning on web resources. I began my search (no pun intended) by heading to Google and got these results. I'm going to work my way down this and take a closer look at the first part of some of the books/ tutorials/documentation. These pages will chronicle my review of resources and my progress in learning programming and Python.

If you're inclined to read about my journey, click the Table of Contents link (here or at the top or bottom of the page) and click on 1. Getting Started to proceed. Note: if you want to follow this chronicle, you should save the link to the Table of Contents as a bookmark. That will be the best way to come back and follow along.
